Wow, I went to see this in theaters with my friends and I had high hopes. By the time I left I was very disappointed. Not only was this movie very corny, but it was extremely boring. I definately wouldn't reccomnd this movie, and I wouldn't waste my money on seeing the sequel!

The way the director manages to use day-to-day mannerisms to build up humor and appeal to people with all levels of sense of humor is ver technical. What a wonderful masterpiece. I laughed at this film. i played the DVD over and over again. Man, what a wonderful move. Epecially at the ending. Cheerful film for kids - Ice Age Reviews

It had a similiar feeling to Shrek regarding the main character disliking almost everyone and similiar to Monsters Inc with the little kid idea. But it had alot of funny parts and touching moments as well. The animation was right on par for this type of film and every part regarding the squirrel was worth it all.

A wonderful addition to 3-d animated films - Ice Age Reviews

This is the best 3-D animated movie I have ever seen. It is all set in the (hense the name) Ice Age. This movie packed a lot of laughs from other people in the movie theatre including myself. The story is a very creative one and often hilarious. The plot isn't dragged out, they keep coming up with funny and creative ideas that really make us laugh. Ray Romano did a good job of playing Manny the mammoth. His character is always so tough and doesn't take ***** from anybody. Dennis Leary also did a good job of playing the mountain lion, but I can't remember his name. My favourite character though, would have to be Sid the sloth who is played wonderfully by John Leguizamo. Sid is the funniest character in this movie and the most stupid (which makes him funny). Chris Wedge does a good job of directing this film. He gets every scene right and really adds a lot of suspense to the suspense scenes. The visuals, however, are the best thing in the movie because they are 3-D (Duh!). The visuals are vibrant and they really wash out and get stuck in your mind. This is a funny adventure with a lot of laughs and it is a joy to watch. I give it 3.5 stars out of 4 and thumbs up.

This movie is funny! Great laughs through the whole movie. I agree with the guy that said it was too short. They shoud definetly make a sequal to this great movie. I saw it in theaters three times and I bought it as soon as it came out. I reccomend this grt movie to evrybdy!!!!!!!

This is what a cartoon movie should be. I watched this movie, followed by Toy Story 2. I enjoyed Ice Age more. The funny parts of this movie are wittier and just plain funnier that the funny parts in Toy Story.
